Tim Tyler is an author and historian who lives in Evans, Georgia. He has written The Decline and Fall of the Shah, a history of the Iranian Revolution; A History of Panama, 1502 – 2002, which covers Panamanian history from its discovery by Christopher Columbus to the turnover of the Panama Canal; and Cables from Tehran, an examination of all the intelligence reporting sent out of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran before its seizure in November 1979. He is writing a fourth book on the Vietnam War.

KINGS BAY, Ga. —Our speaker- Captain Bill Dull, U.S. Navy, is the Commanding Officer of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia, one of the Navy’s premier strategic deterrence installations and the East Coast home of the nation’s fleet ballistic missile and guided missile submarines.
As Commanding Officer, Capt. Dull is responsible for the operation and support of the base’s submarines, tenant commands, and thousands of Sailors, civilian personnel, and family members who contribute to the installation’s mission of sustaining the sea-based leg of the nation’s nuclear triad
Capt. Dull brings to the position extensive operational and leadership experience across the submarine force. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of at-sea and ashore assignments, including leadership roles aboard multiple submarines and key staff positions supporting fleet and national objectives.
